Disney intern

UIUX, logo, poster

When I started my internship, the first task they gave me was to create a feedback page and a profile page. It was kind of like a warm-up project that helped new interns get familiar with the company’s system, color palette, and component library.

Once I was familiar with the company's tools and systems, I was involved in a lot of UX and research work. As I got more comfortable with how things worked there, I started to get the work of designing a page for some big and published projects.

I've worked on some big, complicated projects with teams full of people in different roles. I often work on a specific page within the project. I mainly did UX and research during my internship. I also take part in some app pages, logos, and posters there. Each project usually took over a month to finish, with weekly meetings where we'd change things based on feedback. The final version is chosen by Disney.

I create monthly newsletters for our Digital team, covering the work we’ve done, team activities, and some app updates that come up during the month. I’ve also been given the task of designing a new logo for our team, which needs to have both Disney and technology feeling.
