Verdant Inhale is an Arduino-based interactive breathing rhythm game. As players follow the beat of the background music, they inhale and exhale using the interactive device. The growth of flowers on the screen visualizes the breathing rhythm, helping players relax and reduce stress. The floral landscape continuously rolls forward, and only with a steady, accurate breathing pattern will the flowers bloom perfectly.
Whenever I feel anxious or overwhelmed, I often wish for an app that could guide my breathing and track the progress of my meditation or mindfulness practice. Although I have tried many applications available on the market, unfortunately, none of them truly helped me.
One of the biggest challenges is that, whether the guidance comes from music, voice instructions, or animated visuals, I am still unable to clearly understand my own state or know whether I am doing the breathing exercises correctly. This uncertainty makes it difficult for me to relax.
